Our Orange County Summer 2019 Bucket List
I can still remember now those long hot days and muggy summer nights growing up in Kansas City. Summers were spent playing outside with friends and splashing the day away at the pool. Ice cream was always aplenty and bedtimes were more of a suggestion. We never made a big deal about making “bucket lists” but nonetheless, my mom always made sure we had an amazing summer packed with all sorts of fun stuff.
With that said, I am totally a list person so a bucket list is a must for me. I am so happy to have the opportunity to stay home with my girls a few days a week but that also means that I work a few days a week as well. So this bucket list is full of things we can do together, but also things they can do with their dad or grandparents to make memories with them as well.
This is our first “real” summer here in Southern California and I am so ready to experience it with these girls. While we were here in California last summer, it was a very chaotic time. We had just moved, did not have any friends in the area, and were still unpacking and getting our bearings in our new city. It was a lot of change for everyone, to say the least, and a lot of our summer was just spent adjusting + surviving. So here is to Summer 2019 - we are looking forward to a great one!
